Er ärgerte sich, dass er die neuesten Bilder und Untersuchungsergebnisse nicht kannte.
"Das weiß ich, danke! Was ich nicht weißt ist, in wiefern Sie an eine Zustandsstabilisation oder besser gesagt einer Veränderung ihres derzeitigen Zustands glauben.", erklärte er. So wie der Arzt alles schilderte, konnte er sie auch gleich wieder mit nach Hause nehmen.
"Ich will nicht, dass ihr Zustand so schlecht wird, dass der Transport nach Hause eine zu große Belastung für sie wäre!", dachte er dann laut.

"Wir müssen abwarten, zumindest bis Morgen, wie sich alles entwickelt. Der Tumor wächst stetig und ist inzwischen in mehrere Gefäße eingebrochen, daher das häufige Bluthusten. Wenn es so weiter geht, braucht sie möglicherweise eine Transfusion, wenn es sich beruhigt, geht es ihr vielleicht in ein paar Tagen schon besser. Ihr Zustand könnte sich aber auch schon über Nacht verschlechtern. Wegen der Blutungen können wir keine Überdruckbeatmung anwenden, die ihr früher gut getan hat, wenn wieder mal gar nichts ging. Es ist eine schwierige Situation und ich habe keine Zauberformel dafür", entschuldigte er sich erneut.

Kathleen war noch dabei, Mary Blut abzunehmen. Als Ryan hereinkam, sah sie auf und war dann leicht erschrocken, dass er ausgerechnet zu der wohl im Moment kränksten Patientin auf Station gehörte.
