Da so früh im Krankenhaus noch um einiges weniger los war, hatte Ryan sich in einem der Bäder gewaschen und umgezogen. Die Nacht hatte er in dem ihm zur Verfügung stehenden Raum, auf zusammen geschobenen Stühlen, verbracht. Da es noch sehr früh war und er in der Nacht wieder lange von seinen Gedanken wach gehalten wurde, hatte er sich nun nochmal etwas hingelegt.

Da Amy ihr Bein noch nicht ohne Hilfe anheben konnte, half sie ihr dabei, es über die Kante zu schieben.
Dann folgte das zweite Bein und sie half ihr unter Instruktionen, sich mit leichtem Schwung aufzusetzen.
Um zu verhindern, dass das kaputte Knie zu stark gebeugt wurde, legte sie ihr ein Kissen unter.

Irgendwann fiel Ryan schließlich auf, dass er noch nicht mal gefrühstückt hatte. So machte er sich auf den Weg.
