So verging die Zeit bis zum Abend. Nachdem die Mädchen sich mit Amy im Schlafzimmer noch ein Spiel angesehen hatten, gingen sie zu Liz, wo sie mit ihr kuschelten, während sie ihnen ein Märchen erzählte. Eine nach der anderen schliefen die drei dabei ein.

Da es im Bett nun ziemlich eng war, machte Jack es sich somit auf dem großen Sofa gemütlich, um die Nacht dort zu verbringen.

Amy war, alleine im Schlafzimmer, unruhig geworden. Vor dem gekippten Fenster hatte sie deutlich etwas gehört. Sie hatte sich eingeredet, dass es nur der Wind war. Doch dann war es wieder zu hören.

Schließlich hörte Amy es deutlich. Es war nur Luna, die einen unwillkommenen Gast vertreiben wollte und dabei anscheinend durch das Gebüsch am Fenster lief. Amy fragte sich, ob sie jemals wieder sie selbst werden würde. Sie wollte nicht mehr die sein, die Panik bekommt, sobald sie einen Ton aus dem Garten hört.
