Als er alleine war, konnte er ein paar vereinzelte Tränen nicht mehr zurück halten. Endlich hatte er sich wieder gefangen und wollte wieder zurück in seinen Beruf. Endlich hatte er wieder einen Einsatz gehabt und seine Freunde wieder gesehen.
Warum musste das alles so enden? Was, wenn sie ihm jetzt wirklich auch noch seinen Arm abnehmen mussten?
Das schlimmste war, die Untätigkeit, zu der er gezwungen war. Er hätte mit Ava reisen sollen und ihr beistehen, alles für sie regeln. Er sollte seine Arbeit machen, regelmäßig trainieren, eben alles, womit er sich ablenken konnte. Doch nichts von dem war ihm möglich.
