Ryan kannte den Film bereits. So wusste er auch, wann das Ende kam. Er genoss die Zeit mit Kathleen so sehr, dass er noch gar nicht daran denken wollte, dass sie bei Ende des Films aufstand und ihn ihre Wärme und ihr Geruch wieder verließen.

Ryan merkte an ihrer Atmung bald, dass sie eingeschlafen war. So ließ er sie ganz vorsichtig in das Bett gleiten, deckte sie zu und strich ihr sanft das Haar aus dem Gesicht.

Liz wachte in der Nacht nur ein Mal kurz auf und sah sich um, sie wusste nicht, wie spät es war, sie hatte gehofft, Jack wäre bei ihr. Doch ein Blick auf die Uhr verriet ihr, dass es bereits schon fast wieder Morgen war. Somit war es klar und gut, dass Jack nicht hier war.
