Amy öffnete die Tür und nahm dann erneut in dem Sessel Platz. Sie sagte nichts, da Chase schließlich der Arzt und sie allgemein nicht gut in solchen Gesprächen war.

So ruhig wie möglich erklärte Chase ihm alles. Danach schwiegen alle für eine Weile.
"Dann bekommt sie jetzt also kein Herz mehr", flüsterte er schließlich. Chase nickte. "Vorerst nicht, nein. Es tut mir leid."
Erneut schwiegen beide, ehe Jack erneut anfing.
"Es geht mir schon besser. Ihr bringt mich doch morgen zu ihr?!" Chase nickte nach einem nur kurzen Zögern. "Natürlich, wenn du das willst. Es kann allerdings wie schon gesagt sein, dass sie noch eine ganze Weile schläft."
