Die Kinder waren traurig, da sie Kathleen gerne sofort begrüßt hätten. Die Erwachsenen lenkten sie ab und spielten ein Brettspiel mit ihnen.

Als Kathleen wieder wach wurde, war der Himmel draußen bereits etwas düster.
Langsam richtete sie sich auf und kämpfte die Übelkeit nieder, die in ihr aufstieg, ehe sie zu den anderen in die Küche ging und sich dort in den Türrahmen lehnte. "Hallo", grüßte sie sie leicht lächelnd.
Jack hatte sich zu dieser Zeit etwas zu Essen geholt, was er nun an dem Tisch in Liz' Krankenzimmer verzehrte.

Sie erwiderte die Umarmung und nickte dann den Kindern zu, die daraufhin ebenfalls langsam auf Kathleen zukamen und sie umarmten. Danach nahmen sie wieder Platz.

Kathleen streichelte den beiden Kindern sanft über die Hinterköpfe, als sie sich an sie drückten und nahm dann ebenfalls auf ihrem Stuhl Platz.
