Nachdem Laura nicht mehr kam, hatte er sich natürlich keinen neuen Therapeuten gesucht und die Schmerzen waren stetig schlimmer geworden. Und in den seltenen Fällen, als er Kathleen erlaubt hatte, ein paar Massagen und Übungen an Rücken und Beinen durchzuführen, weil er es sonst gar nicht mehr ausgehalten hätte, war ihre Angst wiederum zu groß gewesen, ihm noch mehr zu schaden.

Er war eigentlich wirklich fast fertig gewesen, doch aufgrund seiner Schmerzen brauchte er für alles sehr lange. So kam er nach einer ganzen Weile zu ihr in die Küche.
