Q. You have a lot of your famous friends on here, including Justin Hawkins of the Darkness, Jack Black, Steve Vai, and Brian May of Queen. You even have “House’’ star Hugh Laurie playing piano on one track. Did you invite him to the recording sessions when you did a guest spot on the show last season?

A. Yes, but Hugh Laurie and I did comedy sketches with Stephen Fry in London in 1985. And I was good friends with Freddie [Mercury] and Brian and Roger Taylor [of Queen] since the late ’70s. I’ve known Steve Vai since the early ’90s. And Justin Hawkins of the Darkness opened for us for about 24 shows right before they broke. I loved them.

Nur mal nebenbei, ist dem Mann ja selbst überlassen. Ob er Raucht oder nicht, ändert für mich trotzdem nicht an der Tatsache das er für mich der Beste ist :P

Your average TV-actor scandal is a bit lame

Hugh Laurie. A few years ago in Los Angeles, at a press conference, the House star was asked how he had spent the summer break. “I was a taxi driver,” he said. As TV critics got excited about a scoop, Laurie said, “I’m joking.” Then he explained that spent his summer in England, mainly driving his wife and kids to lessons, waiting around and driving them back. He probably reads a good book after work. Definitely doesn’t Google himself.

House is 'best character of the decade'

Medical maverick Dr Gregory House has topped a list of the greatest television characters of the decade.
The role - played by Hugh Laurie on Fox's House - beat Lost villain Benjamin Linus (Michael Emerson) in the TV Overmind poll.
The Wire's Omar Little (Michael K. Williams) took third place in the list.

Other characters to make the top ten included Arrested Development's Tobias Fünke (David Cross), Lost's John Locke (Terry O'Quinn) and Fringe scientist Walter Bishop (John Noble).
No female television parts appeared in the list.

Hugh Laurie was recently nominated for an Emmy award for his performance as House.

Hugh & Jon Hamm Plan to Beat Up Emmy Winner Bryan Cranston

Hamm told PEOPLE at Mad Men's season 4 premiere in Hollywood Tuesday night, he and Fox's House star Hugh Laurie have a plan of attack should Breaking Bad leading man Bryan Cranston again cop the Best Actor Emmy.

"Hugh and I have a feeling that we're going to get together after this year's Emmys and just beat the s--- out of Bryan Cranston," says Hamm, 39. "That's what is going to happen, and we'll just distract him somehow, because he's very fit."

Come the Aug. 29 ceremony, Hamm promises, "Both Hugh and I are very, very creative and very intelligent, so we will come up with some way to do that that will be untraceable to us ... although my saying it out loud to the press may have ruined our plan."

Wir wussten das zwar schon, aber mit Foto ist´s natürlich gleich noch viel schöner.

Mich würde nur mal interessieren, WANN er die Zeit gefunden hat, das Album aufzunehmen.. Das muss ja fast vor dem Drehbeginn von House geschehen sein.. Vielleicht, als er mal die paar Wochen in London war?? Oder er hat einfach beschlossen, dass Schlaf überbewertet wird und nachts aufgenommen xD
