Sie hatte Angst, was hatte sie ihm nur alles erzählt. Remy drehte sich etwas unruhig in ihrem Bett hin und her. Schließlich blieb sie liegen und musterte wieder das Bild von Millers.

House setzte sich ins Wohnzimmer und fragte sich, ob er es ihr lieber hätte nicht sagen sollen. Doch andererseits würde er auch wissen wollen, was er getan hatte, wenn er sich selbst nicht daran erinnern konnte. Darum kam es ihm nur fair vor. Und da sie sowieso Zeit brauchte und jeder von ihnen wusste, dass sie nur an ihn denken konnte, war es eigentlich keine größere Überraschung.

Remy lag eine Zeit so da, ehe sie von ihrer Erschöpfung gezwungen einfach einschlief.

House schaltete den Fernseher ein und sah sich eine Quizsendung an, alle viertel Stunde sah er nach Remy und ob alles in Ordnung war, dann tauschte er die leere Infusion gegen eine neue und ging wieder zurück ins Wohnzimmer.

Remy schlief einige Zeit lang durch und wachte nach ein paar Stunden wieder auf. Sie hatte jeglichen Überblick über die Tageszeiten verlohren, da sie ihren Vorhang immer zugezogen haben wollte.
Denn sie störte sich nicht daran, nein ihr war es vollkommen egal. Ihr war alles egal, was um sie herum passierte. Seit Millers nicht mehr da war war für sie alles vollkommen unwichtig gewesen.
