House beschloss, das Thema erstmal in Ruhe zu lassen und hielt Remy die Schüssel hin, da sie sich bisher wie immer zurückgehalten hatte und nun wieder so schweigsam wie zuvor geworden war.

Remy schüttelte ihren Kopf:"Danke, ich mag jetzt keine!"
Anna sah sie an, nahm eine der Beeren aus der Schüssel und kletterte damit erneut zurück zu ihr ins Bett. Sie hielt ihrer Mutter die Frucht hin und sah sie an:"Hab ich dir extra gebracht!"
Remy musste lachen:"Ja, von ganz weit weg!"
Anschließend ließ sie sich von Anna die Beere in den Mund legen.
Anna sah sie an, nahm eine der Beeren aus der Schüssel und kletterte damit erneut zurück zu ihr ins Bett. Sie hielt ihrer Mutter die Frucht hin und sah sie an:"Hab ich dir extra gebracht!"

House stellte in der Zwischenzeit schmunzelnd die Teller ineinander und trug sie in die Küche zurück. "So, meine beiden Damen... Zeit für den Mittagsschlaf, würde ich sagen", meinte er, als er zu ihnen zurückkam und grinste sie an.

"Was ist das schon", murmelte er vor sich hin. "Kein Problem, ich mach das später noch. Jetzt erstmal ausruhen", meinte er und war dabei mehr um Remy als um Anna besorgt, die wahrscheinlich sonst auch kaum Mittagsschlaf brauchte.

"Also guuuut!", meinte Anna und kuschelte sich an Remy, welche die Kissen leicht umstieß und sich dann hineinfallen ließ. Sie hustete kurz einmal stark und legte ihren Arm dann um ihre Tochter.

House verließ lächelnd das Zimmer und machte doch gleich den Abwasch, damit er nicht später noch damit zu tun hatte. Er ließ sich viel Zeit und rief sich immer wieder Remys Lachen ins Gedächtnis, bis er es direkt vor sich sah und immer wieder abrufen konnte.

Anna und Remy lagen noch eine Zeit lang eng aneinander gekuschelt einfach da, bis beide dann wirklich einschliefen.

Als House den Abwasch beendet hatte, räumte er noch ein wenig in Küche und Wohnzimmer auf und legte sich dann auf die Couch, um auch kurz zu dösen. Es dauerte jedoch nicht lange und er war vollständig eingeschlafen.

Die beiden schliefen eine Weile, bis Anna wieder aufwachte und auf die Toilette musste.
Sie stand vorsichtig auf und glitt von dem für sie noch etwas hohen Bett um anschließend ins Bad zu gehen.
Als sie fertig war ging sie in die Küche und schenkte sich noch etwas zu Trinken ein. Auch die Theke war für sie noch etwas hoch, so rutschte das Glas, als sie es zurück stellen wollte zu Boden und zerbrach dort.

Von dem Scherbeln in der Küche wachte House auf, sah sich kurz verschlafen um und machte sich sofort Sorgen, dass Remy vielleicht wieder gestürzt war. Er stand auf und ging in die Küche, um nachzusehen, wo er Anna vollkommen aufgelöst in einem Scherbenhaufen stehen sah.
