"Sehr gut, so ist es richtig!", sagte House und beobachtete sie kurz, während er versuchte, gefasst zu bleiben. "Geh doch schonmal ins Bett, ich mache mich nur noch fertig, ok?" Er wollte nicht, dass Anna jetzt auch noch sein Bein zu sehen bekam, das wäre eindeutig zu viel an einem Tag.

Anna sah ihn an und rutschte von der Toilette. Ihr war nicht klar, warum House sie jetzt weg schickte, wo sie doch nach den ganzen Geschehnissen nur bei ihm sein wollte. Für sie kam seine Aufforderung so etwas zu scharf rüber, doch sie befolgte sie und ging vor in sein Zimmer.

Er wollte noch etwas erwidern, bevor Anna weg war, doch er wusste nicht was, also ließ er sie einfach gehen und wusch sich anschließend. Zuletzt zog er sich um und lehnte sich noch einen Moment an die geflieste Wand, wo er seinen Oberschenkel rieb. Sein Bein hatte im Laufe des Tages immer stärker geschmerzt und im Moment wusste er kaum noch, wie er auftreten sollte.

Anna kletterte in House´s Bett und legte sich hinein. Sie sah zur Wand und überlegte. Was war mit House los? Verheimlichte er ihr etwas? Sie war doch noch so klein...kaum konnte sie ihre Tränen zurück halten.
