Nach einer Stunde wachte House auf und ging kurz in die Küche, um sich etwas zu trinken zu holen. Schließlich kehrte er wieder zu seinem Bett zurück.

Unterwegs war er kurz im Flur stehen geblieben und hatte gehorcht, doch da alles ruhig gewesen war, konnte er nun auch wieder ganz entspannt einschlafen.

Anna wachte früh wieder auf und drehte sich ein paar Mal in ihrem Bett um. Nach einer Weile kletterte sie schließlich aus dem Bett und ging ins Bad.
Nachdem sie sich fertig gemacht hatte zog sie sich an und ging in die Küche.
Sie stellte ein paar Sachen auf den Tisch. Die übrigen waren ihr zu schwer oder zu gefährlich.

Erst eine ganze Weile nach Anna wachte House auf und stand gemächlich auf. Als er seine Zimmertür öffnete, hörte er aus der Küche klappernde Geräusche und er fragte sich, wieso Remy ihn nicht einfach machen ließ und sich nicht mehr anstrengte, als es sein musste.
Als er dann jedoch Anna erblickte, musste er sofort lächeln. "Guten Morgen, mein Liebling." Er blickte auf den Tisch. "Das hast du ja schon super gemacht! Ich komme gleich und helf dir!" Er schloss sie kurz in die Arme, dann humpelte er ins Badezimmer.

Nun musste House lachen. "Ach Anna, ich bezahl das schon, lass mal", grinste er und räumte die Münzen wieder in das Sparschwein. "Wollen wir zusammen zum Bäcker gehen? Aber wir sollten Mama einen Zettel hier lassen." Er zog einen Notizzettel und einen Stift aus der Schublade und setzte sich damit an den Tisch. "Was sollen wir schreiben", fragte er dann und sah Anna an.

Anna überlegte schwer:"Ich denke...die Wahrheit: Hallo Mama! Wir sind beim Bäcker! Ich bekomme eine ganze Tüte Süßigkeiten! Liebe dich!", formulierte sie dann schnell.
