House seufzte und erhob sich schwerfällig wieder aus seinem Sessel, griff nach seinem Stock und humpelte vorsichtig zu Annas Zimmer. Leise, falls die Kleine bereits schlief, öffnete er die Tür und musste über den Anblick schmunzeln. Einen Moment sah er zu der schlafenden Isobel, dann nahm er die Fleecedecke von Annas Stuhl und breitete sie vorsichtig Isobel. Leise schloss er die Tür wieder und kehrte ins Wohnzimmer zurück.
"Ein allerliebstes Bild", erklärte er. "Isobel schläft mit Anna im Arm. Es ist ohnehin schon spät, ich denke wir sollten sie einfach schlafen lassen, sie hat Urlaub und wird sicher nicht zu viel Stress haben, wenn sie morgen immer noch bei uns ist."

"Würde ich schon so sagen", meinte House, zu sagen, dass er sie zugedeckt hatte, war ihm beinahe zu peinlich, schließlich war er zu weitgehend Fremden sonst nicht so zuvorkommend. "Ich denke, wir sollten jetzt auch ins Bett gehen, es war für uns alle ein langer Tag", befand Chase schließlich und strich Remy eine Haarsträhne hinters Ohr, während er ihr in die Augen sah.
